How high can a pallet jack lift?

Pallet jacks are used to move palletised goods around warehouses and lift them onto shelves for stacking and storage. How high a pallet jack can lift depends on the type of pallet jack you have. They can lift pallets anywhere between 3 inches to 8 feet high.

High lift pallet jacks

A high lift pallet jack, such as a scissor lift pallet jack, is ideal for lifting loads to higher spaces and can load/ unload from locations that typical pallet jacks can’t. The ‘scissor lift supports loads whilst pallets are being raised to hard-to-reach areas with added stabilisers to keep the jack in place. They also help to increase the amount of storage available as they may be stored on additional warehouse shelving and racking; this means you benefit from increased storage space.

High lift pallet trucks are robust and can lift loads vertically, eliminating the need for ladders, towers or scaffolding. Low profile pallet jacks

On the other hand, low-profile pallet jacks are designed to lift with low clearance pallets so cannot lift as high as a scissor lift pallet jack. They are, however, still great for transporting heavy loads from one location to another in a warehouse and for situations where a standard pallet jack does not fit in a pallet or is unable to go under.
