About our range of meeting room chairs

Whatever business you’re in, you will inevitably need a space for meetings. That may be anything from a conference or boardroom to a smaller space for impromptu get-togethers. You’ll most likely need a meeting room table, and you’ll definitely need some seatingmeeting room chairs! How you design the space will completely depend on your brand, but most companies will want to reflect their brand in meeting rooms as much as everywhere else.

Before you choose furniture for your meeting rooms - ask yourself how you’ll use these spaces. Do you need to entertain important clients? Or do you simply need somewhere to host weekly staff meetings? Perhaps you need both. Depending on your needs, the type of chairs you buy will differ. We have a wide range of meeting room and conference room chairs in various styles to ensure you find the right seating for your business.

Boardroom Chairs

If you have a conference facility or boardroom for entertaining important visitors, you’ll be keen to acquire seating that not only compliments your other boardroom furniture, but is also comfortable and long-lasting, while reflecting your brand. The Manutan stackable fabric conference room chair featuring chrome and black frames is one of our most popular seating products, offering comfort and simplicity in a range of colours.

If you hold regular or long meetings, choosing a mesh back design like the Luna or Voyager has multiple benefits. Meeting rooms can get stuffy, so choosing a mesh fabric meeting room chair will allow more airflow through to help prevent employees getting too hot. Upholstered boardroom chairs are also hugely popular as they are so durable and come in a wide variety of colours and styles. Our office reception Everest chair comes in a pack of 2 and has a tufted button designed backrest adding colour and a touch of class to smaller meetings rooms.

After you’ve chosen the fabric and style of your preferred meeting room chairs, you’ll need to decide how many chairs you need. The first consideration will be the space you have to work with. Some chairs, like our padded cantilever range are a little bigger so take up a bit more space than a standard conference room chair. If you already have a conference/meeting room table it’s worth estimating how many chairs can fit round it. You will want to make sure you’re not cramming people in, and also that you have enough chairs to accommodate all attendees. Check the dimensions of your desired seating prior to making a purchase - if you need help with this our sales team are more than happy to advise you over the phone.

Conference room stacking chairs

If you don’t have a huge amount of space to work with, stacking chairs are a great alternative. We offer both upholstered, plastic or wooden chairs which can be stacked and transported with ease, making them an ideal, lightweight option for moving from one place to another. If you tend to hold longer meetings, you might want a chair with more padding, such as our Denali or Princeton range. These chairs provide staff and visitors with an extra layer of comfort, while still easily stacked after use. If you simply need additional chairs for quick meetings or breakout areas, the Harvard chair is a great choice.

FAQs

Do you stock meeting room chairs with arms?

Yes, many of the meeting room chairs in our range have armrests such as our Rainier and Verco models.

How should I clean my boardroom chairs?

Frames can be cleaned with a damp cloth and, if required, a mild soap cleaning agent. Avoid using abrasive scouring sponges as this may damage the frame. Dirty marks such as handprints can be removed using a dry, micro-fibre cloth. For fabrics, use a vacuum cleaner to get rid of any debris and wipe over with a good fabric cleaner. Do not use bleach or any other caustic / solvent based cleaner to clean the chairs as this could lead to the finish and upholstery being permanently damaged.

How can I stack my meeting room chairs safely?

Ensure that the chairs are all of the same type and design, as chairs of different shapes and sizes may not stack securely. Gather the chairs together, positioning each one so that the seat and backrest are facing upwards. When stacking the chairs, place them one on top of the other, making sure to align the legs of each chair with the seat of the chair below it. Be careful not to damage the legs or seat of the chairs while stacking, and try to distribute the weight evenly to avoid putting too much pressure on any one chair. Avoid overstacking as this could lead to the chairs toppling over, or make it more difficult to unstack them again.
