Side selector for the lighting mode (morse or solid), with safety catch that prioritises red lighting to prevent the accidental selection of white lighting.
Consistent lighting power throughout the entire discharge time with either one or two batteries.
Long battery life even when constantly lit (20 hours in white and 62 hours in red).
