The 15mm width is the popular choice or doorset manufacturers who prefer the size due to its belts and braces way of getting through fire tests
The leading brand fire resisting doors are fitted with the 15mm size, one strip for 30 minute doors and 2 strips running parallel, but approx 6mm apart, plus one brush and one plain where smoke seals are required around the door to achieve FD60 status
Additionally, factory doorset manufacturers use this size as it has enabled them to use one size cutter for either FD30 or FD60 doors, albeit set up differently
All brushes are black with no plastic fin, reducing noise levels and resistance
Fully tested to BS 476 Pt 2022 and Pt 31.1 cold smoke leakage
Independently tested on a range of single and double leaf doorsets
Ideal for humid environments
High tack self adhesive backing for quick and easy fitting
