Tyvek® clothing and accessories are made from high-density, flash-spun polyethylene, providing an ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort. Tyvek® is permeable to both air and water vapour yet repels aerosols and water-based liquids.
It offers an excellent barrier against fibres and fine particles (down to 1 micron in size), is ultra-low-linting and has an anti-static treatment applied. No added silicone.
Applications include chemical handling, chemical protection, lead and asbestos removal and decontamination, general industrial and maintenance operations, spray painting and general cleaning operations, to name a few.
