Widely used by companies across industries, e-procurement and its services are key tools to make savings, increase efficiency within procurement teams and reduce the environmental impact of transactions. We offer you a range of solutions and work with many partners in this area which enables us to tailor to your needs.
E-procurement and its services in three steps
E-procurement solutions aim to dematerialise transactions between customers and their suppliers. This enables the entire Procure-to-Pay process to be optimised through three main steps.
1
Access to products
2
Shipment of orders
3
Receipt of invoices
E-procurement: solutions adapted to everyone
The use of e-procurement and its services is suitable for all companies that wish to optimise the efficiency of their procurement department while reducing the costs and environmental impact of their activity.
Do you have an e-procurement solution?
Thanks to our technical solution and our IT teams, we are able to connect to all marketplaces, without exception, in record time.
Anything is possible, whether you have an in-house solution or a partner platform from SAP Ariba, Oracle, Ivalua, Coupa, Basware, Jaggaer, Proactis, etc
E-procurement comprises a range of services from which you can choose the ones most relevant for your business.
The electronic catalogue
Whether a Punch-Out or a hosted catalogue, this e-procurement solution allows your online users to access through a simple search a detailed list of products in line with the negotiated agreement terms (discounts, product exclusions, shipping costs, etc.).
How does it work?
Through a catalogue, your users create a shopping basket with the products of their choice, which becomes a purchase request. This is then automatically integrated into your systems and follows the internal approval process before being transformed into a purchase order.
Punch-Out
Through a user-friendly, personalised interface directly connected to our Web-Shop, this dynamic catalogue gives you access to a resources list updated in real time (prices, delivery times, stock levels, etc.) and provides automatic reporting. Punch-Out is an e-procurement solution which is particularly relevant to manage a very wide range of products with fewer recurrent purchases.
Hosted catalogue
Directly imported into your purchasing area, in your preferred format, this static catalogue gives you access to a defined range of products that guarantees the stability of the negotiated prices. The hosted catalogue is better suited to managing a limited list of products which often includes recurrent purchases.
Connected systems
Both EDI and API technologies allow data to be transferred from one system to another, the difference being in how this is done. The choice between EDI and API will be made according to the needs of your company, its present and future technological ecosystem.
EDI
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) makes it possible to digitalise and automate the exchange of commercial documents in a standardised format, either with a direct connection (called "point-to-point") or via an EDI network provider. It covers all types of documents:
- Order forms;
- Purchase orders;
- Mandates;
- Shipping notice;
- Customs documents;
- Invoices;
- Payments...
This e-procurement technology helps to improve and optimise the flow of the information exchanged and replaces the traditional channels (e-mail, mail, phone, etc.).
Do you not have an e-procurement solution yet?
If your company has not yet adopted e-procurement and its services, there are several solutions available to start this transformation, including the implementation of a webshop.
This e-procurement solution is both quick and easy to set up. Through its e-commerce site, Manutan offers multiple functionalities similar to e-procurement tools:
- Account personalised to the agreement terms
- Real-time consultation of products, prices and availability
- Follow-up of quotes, orders and deliveries
- Management of purchase lists
- Consumption reporting
